Golden Pin Design Mark 2016 awarded to COORDINATION ASIA
The Golden Pin Awards, Taiwan’s prestigious annual design competition, has awarded COORDINATION ASIA with a distinction in Spatial Design!
Recognizing excellent communication design for the Chinese-speaking market, Golden Pin celebrates the incorporation of ancient philosophies, ideologies, principles, and symbolism in design for a modern world. As the globe’s biggest market, bringing culture into design is key to tapping into its full potential to communicate with people. In it’s third year of opening to companies outside of Taiwan, Golden Pin saw a record-breaking amount of entries – over 3,000 projects from 13 countries.
COORDINATION ASIA’s Nike Studio Beijing project received the Golden Pin Design Mark – an indication of innovation in spatial design for the huaren (Chinese-speaking) market. Chosen by a jury panel led by Nendo founder and creative directior Oki Sato, aesthetics, functions, and emotions were all taken into account.
We’re very honored to be selected by this award for innovation in Asia. Thank you to everyone involved!
